Diversity

Pensar – Journal of Legal Sciences promotes diversity as a core value of its editorial policy. This is reflected in the geographic and institutional plurality of authors, reviewers, and editors; in the openness to different legal traditions and methodologies; and in multilingual publication, which broadens access and international participation.

We foster diversity through:

  • Publication in five languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and French;

  • Editorial exogeneity: at least 15% of the editorial board composed of foreign members, and 100% of reviewers external to Unifor and to the state of Ceará (Brazil);

  • Ad hoc reviewers from multiple Brazilian and international institutions (France, Poland, Italy);

  • Open access and CC BY 4.0 license, ensuring global and free reuse of content.

In this way, Pensar reinforces its commitment to academic and social plurality, ensuring that diverse voices, perspectives, and legal traditions take part in the scientific debate.

We support and encourage research in accordance with the Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) Guidelines.

Nossa equipe editorial é composta por 50% de mulheres e 50% de homens, valorizando a diversidade.
