Strategic Plan (2025–2027)

This document sets out the development roadmap of Revista Pensar – Journal of Legal Sciences for 2025–2027, guided by the principles of scientific quality, integrity, transparency, and open science. It defines goals and timelines to strengthen editorial governance, improve the peer-review workflow, expand internationalization, and ensure interoperability with indexing services and research databases.

Priorities include: consolidation of clear editorial policies (ethics, integrity, retractions, conflicts of interest), consistent adoption of ORCID, DOI, and the CRediT taxonomy; encouragement of open data and supplementary materials; continuous publishing; updated author guidelines to enhance methodological rigor and reproducibility; expansion of an international reviewer network; and improved metadata (JATS/XML, altmetrics, digital preservation). The plan also integrates diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) and visibility strategies to qualify the journal’s presence in directories and databases — with scheduled applications to Web of Science and Scopus.
