Abstract

The Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Law at the University of Fortaleza (Unifor), part of the Edson Queiroz Foundation, held the 1st Congress of Civil Law Scholars on March 6, 7, and 8, 2024. The event featured renowned researchers and civil law professors who advocate for substantial equality for all individuals.

In 2024, the theme of the event was “Current Issues and Perspectives on Brazilian Civil Law,” with the goal of analyzing the concepts and institutes of Civil Law from a prospective perspective, proposing pathways for emerging challenges in contemporary civil law through the exchange of concrete experiences.
