Bienestar individual, conciencia de salud y hábitos alimentarios saludables como antecedentes del consumo de alimentos orgánicos

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio es investigar cómo el bienestar individual, la conciencia sobre la salud y los hábitos alimenticios saludables influyen en el consumo de alimentos orgánicos. Se realizó una encuesta cuantitativa descriptiva mediante muestreo no probabilístico. La recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo a través de una encuesta en línea, distribuida mediante la técnica de bola de nieve, con una muestra de 402 participantes. Los datos se analizaron mediante modelado de ecuaciones estructurales, con el apoyo de los programas SPSS y AMOS. Los principales resultados indican que el consumo de alimentos orgánicos está significativamente influenciado por el bienestar individual. Además, los hábitos alimenticios saludables mostraron una relación positiva con el consumo de alimentos orgánicos, mientras que la conciencia sobre la salud no mostró una influencia significativa. Las contribuciones teóricas amplían la comprensión del consumo de alimentos orgánicos, mientras que las contribuciones metodológicas pueden ayudar a las empresas y a los profesionales del marketing a comprender mejor las percepciones de los consumidores y a satisfacer sus necesidades y deseos de manera más efectiva. Este estudio contribuye a la literatura al ofrecer un enfoque innovador sobre el consumo de alimentos orgánicos, con nuevos hallazgos prácticos y de gestión. Los resultados resaltan la importancia del bienestar y los hábitos saludables en la elección de alimentos orgánicos, mientras que el papel de la conciencia sobre la salud resulta relevante para la adopción de hábitos alimenticios saludables.
