Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate how individual well-being, health consciousness, and healthy eating habits influence organic food consumption. A descriptive quantitative study was conducted using non-probability sampling. Data were collected via an online survey distributed using the snowball sampling technique, with a sample of 402 respondents. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling, supported by SPSS and AMOS software. The main results indicate that organic food consumption is significantly influenced by individual well-being. Furthermore, healthy eating habits showed a positive relationship with organic food consumption, whereas health consciousness did not demonstrate a significant influence. The theoretical contributions expand the understanding of organic consumption, while the methodological contributions can help companies and marketing professionals better understand consumer perceptions and more effectively meet their needs and desires. This study contributes to the literature by offering an innovative approach to organic food consumption, presenting new practical and managerial findings. The results highlight the importance of well-being and healthy habits in the choice of organic foods, while the role of health consciousness proves relevant to the adoption of healthy eating habits.
