Abstract

The aim of the paper is to identify how the life coaching process contributes to the development of the coachee’s career. Thus, there were 25 interviews with professionals who participated in life coaching sessions as coachees. The research was characterized as a quantitative and qualitative research, and the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD) as a methodological strategy tab, organization and analysis of the empirical material. Based on the interviewees, were identified eight core ideas that were classified into four macro categories, demonstrating how life coaching influences the development of the coachee’s career. The results, on the one hand, corroborate the theoretical framework and, on the other, enrich the literature on the subject. Finally, this research suggests new research in order to deepen and enrich the discussions on this field of studies still incipient. Keywords: Coaching. Life Coaching.Career.Coachee.
