Estrés en el Trabajo de los Gestores del Sector Público

Resumen

En el escenario actual de transformaciones de las organizaciones y de la naturaleza del trabajo, el estrés sigue como un reto y problema relevante, con peculiaridades que deben ser investigadas cuando se consideran organizaciones públicas y sus gestores. Este estudio buscó explorar las percepciones de gestores del sector público sobre el estrés en el trabajo, diagnosticando los niveles de estrés en el trabajo de gestión. Fueron recogidos datos por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas y cuestionarios compuestos por cuestiones abiertas y elementos cerrados con gestores de un órgano público federal. Fueron realizados análisis cualitativos y cuantitativos descriptivos. El nivel medio de estrés diagnostico fue moderado. Los principales factores de estrés se refieren a las influencias e injerencias políticas en la actuación del gestor, número insuficiente de profesionales en los equipos, plazos  apretados e intromisión de demandas de trabajo en los horarios de descanso y ocio. El estudio trae reflexiones sobre prácticas direccionadas a la promoción del bienestar de estos profesionales, presenta un cuestionario sobre estrés en el trabajo de gestión y traza una agenda de investigación.
