Abstract

This work identified and classified the stakeholders of the Human Milk Bank Network of the Federal District. To this end, the aim was to identify the presence of actors involved with rBLH-DF in the legal content that governs the structure and operations of the network, and in reports published on journalistic portals. Interviews were also carried out, using a semi-structured script, with network collaborators. In this way, it was possible to characterize the stakeholders according to their performance and positioning in relation to the network, considering the degree of influence and power exercised by these actors. Additionally, the level of engagement in these relationships was investigated. It was found that there is consistency in the relationships between rBLH-DF and its stakeholders, who act actively in their interactions with the network. Those who support and collaborate with the organization provide capillarity and resources to the network's actions and enable the success and self-sufficiency of human milk banks, while there are those who have the potential to threaten the achievement of rBLH-DF's objectives, whether through control of resources, or by influencing popular opinion. The analysis of the results of this case study can contribute to the management of these relationships and to the development of performance indicators that relate the actions of stakeholders to the success of the organization.
