Network of a Brazilian municipality of Psychosocial Care of Social Care of Mental Health

Objective: Understanding the Psychosocial Care Network from the perspective of Mental Health workers. Methods: Qualitative research carried out in a Psychosocial Care Unit and in a Psychosocial Care Center for alcohol and other drugs in a Brazilian city. Thirty mental health workers were interviewed through a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Results: Respondents brought up that the Psychosocial Care Network is being built, emphasizing invisibility, the stigma of mental health, the overload of services and the lack of investment in services. Conclusion: The importance of worker engagement and training in mental health is highlighted for the qualification of care.
