Changes in the public sphere in contemporary

Abstract

Our article discusses the changes in contemporary public sphere. First, discuss the concept of public sphere in the thought of Jürgen Habermas, as well as the possible critical references to his structural change of the Public Sphere. Then, explicitly, from JB Thompson, the new understanding of the public sphere, especially in view the development of the modern media. Finally, we discuss the role played by social movements in contemporary public sphere, in addition to the increased fragmentation of public space for discussion. Keywords: Public sphere. The media.
