Objective: to evaluate sexual quality of life and the impacts of menopause in women assisted during a volunteer expedition in Conde, Paraíba. Method: Observational, cross-sectional, and quantitative study conducted with 50 women in different stages of climacteric and menopause. The validated instruments SQoL-F and MRS were applied through individual interviews. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26, with nonparametric tests and a 5% significance level. Results: The sample had a mean age of 46.18 years, mostly single (70%) and with two children (88%). The mean SQoL-F score was 85.3, indicating a good perception of sexual quality of life, whereas the mean MRS score was 26.1, suggesting climacteric symptoms of moderate intensity, mainly in the somatovegetative and psychological domains. Women under 50 years presented higher SQoL-F scores; however, no significant associations were found between MRS results and sociodemographic or reproductive variables. No correlation was observed between symptom intensity and sexual quality of life. Conclusion: Despite the high burden of symptoms, women reported a positive perception of sexuality, influenced by subjective and cultural factors. The study highlights the need for comprehensive, humanized, and culturally sensitive care strategies, as well as the use of validated instruments to support clinical practice and public policies focused on women’s health during climacteric.
