Abstract

Objective: Analyze the different chosen therapeutic interventions and their impact on the Quality of Life of women with breast cancer. Method: This is an integrative literature review, with an observational and descriptive character, carried out through research in the libraries and databases PubMed, BVS, and SciELO. The period from 2014 to 2024 was adopted for article analysis. Results: A total of 415 articles were found, and after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 13 articles remained for final analysis. Among the reviewed studies, it was observed that different therapeutic strategies influence Quality of Life in various ways. Pharmacological treatments, such as Zoledronic Acid and Abemaciclib, reduced bone pain, while non-pharmacological measures, such as physical activity, relieved fatigue and improved physical, emotional, and social functions. It was also identified that emotional and psychological aspects, such as fatigue, insomnia, and anxiety, are frequently affected by treatments, especially chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Conclusion: thus, the analysis of the studies allowed us to verify that the different therapies used in the treatment of breast cancer have varied impacts on the quality of life of affected women, either positively or negatively, making it necessary to implement measures that mitigate unfavorable outcomes.
