Objective: The study addresses the perspective of Community Health Workers (CHWs) on violence in territories and mental health in times of COVID-19. Summary of data: It was anchored in participatory methodologies, stimulated by the dialogue between researchers and CHWs. The production of data consisted in the construction of trees representing the impressions of the CHWs about research, potentialities, weaknesses and referrals. The trees expressed the CHWs' knowledge, actions and learning, pointing out proposals to improve care articulated to management and health care. The trees enabled the exchange of experiences and feelings among the participants in a qualified listening and debate, considering the real training needs of professionals to face challenging life contexts that involve violence, COVID-19, mental health and health care. Conclusion: The report highlighted three aspects that should be noted. The first refers to the meeting of the CHAs with the results of the research - the confirmation of the data by the participants and the re-signification of these results in the collective debate within their territories. Another relevant aspect concerns the active participation of CHAs in identifying challenges and potentialities for tackling the issues raised in the research. Finally, the last aspect refers to the CHAs' indication of training and support processes for developing actions and/or tools to support their work processes in the violent territory they experience on a daily basis.
