Representation od the Needy Hinterland and Domination of Country Man

Abstract

This article presents the representation od the hinterland and the country man northeastern constructed in the literature´s books of Euclides da Cunha, Os sertões, Graciliano Ramos, Vidas Secas, and of Rachel de Queiroz, O quinze. The characterization of the physical and climatic conditions in this material, was stigmatized them of inhospitable and aggressive, delimiting the landscape of the halfbarren northeastern as a torment to the life human being, who is banishes by it, legitimized in knowledge, the ideia of needy hiterland, that disables the weath generation, rank that in this space nothing could prosper.
