Abstract

The text links psychoanalysis and education starting with the present-day concern with so-called ‘authority crisis’. In the psychoanalytic tradition education has been treated basically as a barring instance; we believe, however, that the educator can have a role in trying and reconciling pain and pleasure in the relation to knowledge. In this regard, we shall start our analysis from the question of the infantile in Freud. Latter we will focus on Winnicott’s theory, mainly on his view of playing. Keywords: Knowledge. Pain.
