Abstract

The objective of the present paper is to discuss budget mechanisms, emphasizing the study on the formation the Facilities and Administrative Costs (F&A), since a few small business companies present the domain on the subject, or even control of the formatting of their constructions. A small business company was investigated as a case study, in the city of Fortaleza – CE, Northeast Brazil. Findings of the research evidenced the necessity of a rational determination of F&A costs in order attainment improvements in the process of budget composition.
