UMA ABORDAGEM PRÁTICA DA PESQUISA OPERACIONAL NA INDÚSTRIA DE ALIMENTOS: INTERAÇÃO UNIVERSIDADE/EMPRESA

Abstract

This article presents and one of the interaction mechanisms discusses between the University and the Companies. We will present the Operational Research (O.R) as a tool of applied optimization to the industrial ambient of a factory of victuals, and that it has been used with sucess, offering great potential in the solution of complex problems in several areas of knowledge. Among the several techniques of the (O.R.), we applied a problem model in staff scheduling, where it makes himself the conversion of an existent reality in production ambient for mathematical model that tries to represent it in the best possible way. Starting from the model they are made a series of arguments and mathematical interpretations with views to the optimization of staff scheduling and the analysis and experimetation of the results.
