Abstract

The Specialization on Safety Engineering tias as its principal objective to prepare professionals from engineering, architecture and agronomy to be able to know, to analyze, to measure and to control environmental risk agents. Their "lato sensus" specialization course, with 450 hours of activities, give them the necessary knowledge to develop all the specifications related in the Established Norms, principatly, the "NR-09" that deals with Prevention Program in Environmenfal Rlsks. The great problem in this "NR" it is the fact that it does not obligate the engineer to be the only one responsible to do it. It opens to any person that if the entrepreneur founds him enough capable, he can be determined to make Ltie prujecl. Wilti Ltial, must of the PPRA existents, are going down with their quality just because an errar in the law that might be urgently corrected.
