Reavaliação dos parâmetros dos solos de Fortaleza pelo método aoki e velloso(1975) para estacas do tipo raiz.

Abstract

This paper approaches a re-evaluation of the parameters k and ? in soils applied for the calculation of loading capacity in root stakes foundations type, originally proposed by Aoki and Velloso (1975). The method was applied to the most commonly used soils in the city of Fortaleza, Northeast Brazil. Initially, a screening was applied to 54 constructions which had root stakes foundation. Later, the parameters k and ? based on Aoki and Velloso (1975) method were analyzed with regard to results from percussion surveys (SPT) and loading tests in four independent construction sites. Eventually, the parameters were checked out.
