Abstract

In this study, a numerical simulation using computational fluid dynamics software was carried out, within a tubulation flow aiming to study a gate valve control. The answers obtained were good and based on comparison between experimental and numerical results. These analyses were useful to validate the use of the computational fluid dynamics software flow and to characterize the flows in those hydraulic components.
