Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present possible alternatives for inspection of hulls of the type FPSOs ("Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading") to ensure the integrity of the structure, preventing material damage, environmental disasters and even human losses, showing possible methods existing in the world to conduct such analyses. Since most of the systems for inspection of offshore structures owned multinational enterprises, research and development of national systems are presented in this work.
