Abstract

The main goal aimed by the study is analyse the importance of Social Assistance role as an instrument of poverty reduction, investing in the improvement of a good life standard as a true expression of citizenship. It was tried an accurate study of Social Assistance perfomance in the Union, States, Cities and Towns and in the society as a whole, exhibitting its changes through its insertion in the constitutional text Keywords: Citizenship; Social Attendance; Poverty; Human Development; Social Exclusion.
