Stress: a postmodernity disconfort

Abstract

This article presents important aspects about occupational stress, a still little understood variable in working world, placing it as a subject related to a tecnological modernity and politics of working human management on organizations. Our approach about stress took as support authors like Foucault (1981), Canguilhem (1995) and Rossi (1993 and 1995), as will as the holistic paradigm (Crema, 1991, 1993, 1995 1997) and the Biocentric Principle (Toro, 1982), as much as related definitions that characterize this phenomenon, as the steps to be follwed, mainly by managers and health professionals, intending to the reach of the Organization’s Global Health of the organization.
