This article is a result of a bibliographic research, of exploratory nature, on George Lukács’ labor. The goal is to apprehend the category of education and its importance as an active social complex in the human development. Through theoretical approaches with the category of ethics and of some of its ontological principles, it was possible to explain the genesis and the social function of education in its particularity, such as in its universality as a indispensable category to the development of the human being. Keywords: Ethic. Ontology. Education.Downloads
