Cachaça: niche of mnarket or strategic alternative?

This article aims to examine the production sector of the sugar cane liquor - the Brazilian white rum, from the perspective of job positions and the income that this segment can create. It analyzes the insertion in the new relationship between the urban and the rural, the programs that now are valid in state and federal level and the contradictions that those programs carry with itself.
