Abstract

The current article consists of a comparison among two cinema productions – “84 Charging Cross Road” and “Denise Calls Up” -, with the mark of contemplating on some aspects of the metamorphosis process to which the human sociability has been submitted. To accomplish this study, the pictures had been attended a lot of times. The main occurrences had been observed, registered, analyzed and interpreted, specially exploring the differences between types of communication: the letter, in “84 Charging Cross Road”; the telephone and fax in “Denise Calls Up”. After such comments and parallels, it got the conclusion that the relations generated by the technology may transform us into beings automatons, incapable to demonstrate our feelings. This article consists in one appeals: it proposes to the possible readers to think about the importance of the sociability in the current world. Keywords: Sociability. Technology.
