Abstract

In this paper the thermal behavior of a pyranometer under transient operation is analysed through the use of the technique of Green’s functions. The transient solution for the fi eld of temperature was obtained as a function of experimental data took from the instrument operating under real conditions. The results showed the feasibility of the method of Green’s functions when it is necessary to have solution of transient conduction problems associated to boundary conditions that evolves with time.
