Abstract

With the need from the measure of average roughness Ra estimate the values of other parameters the roughness is that the work proposed the creation of a mathematical model so that the industries that act in area metal mechanics, as well as academic, could have since then with a tool capable of estimating values for other parameters of roughness, and thus reduce the time, when possible, extra measurements of lots of parts machined . The results showed that the mathematical model proposed is extremely efficient in the estimation of the parameters of roughness Rt e Ry.
