The Land Registry Management System emerges as an undeniable necessity in the contemporary scenario of territorial development. Cape Verde, inserted in this context, cannot ignore this need for knowledge of its territory. The demand for a land registry management system that covers all its islands reflects this approach. It means that it is not just a matter of creating a simple land registry, but establishing a system that can meet various purposes and needs, including efficient land management and ensuring legal security in real estate transactions. The registry management system is the basis for all information related to property, land, and territorial assets. Traditionally, this management involves a variety of fragmented systems that are often disconnected from each other and operate in isolation. In recent years, we have witnessed a profound change in the landscape of land management and in the handling of information related to property and territory. Digital transformation has been a crucial factor in a new cadastral management paradigm, focusing on integration, interoperability of systems, and adoption of new technologies. In this context, the implementation of the land registry, followed by the creation of a management system, constitutes a fundamental instrument for the sustainable socioeconomic planning and management of the territory.
