Seven full-scale, primary facultative ponds were investigated. Average BOD and COD removal was 79 and 69%, respectively. Concentration of suspended solids in the eflluents was about 100 mg/L. Total coliform removal was around 2 log's in all systems. The treament plants are capable of receiving higher flow rates (about 25%).Downloads
