This work intends to discuss the communication in the classroom based on four axioms proposed by Watzlawick, Beavin and Jackson. Teaching is presented as a process of formation and transformation of behavior through class communication. In the work “Pragmatics of Human Communication”, teachers play the role of communication catalysts. Based on these axioms, we set the teacher as someone who facilitates and articulates communication. We mention remarkable moments of this experience, all of them applied to classrooms. Keywords: Teaching; Communication in the classroom; Axioms of human communication.Downloads
