Abstract

Mario Quintana believed that the linguistic code was not enough to keep on Poetry potential power. Our proposition, in this work, is concerned on the presentation of relevant moments in which the author – Rio Grandense do Sul born – lerings up the rawmaterial of his poetical build. Besides these metalinguistic aspects, we also discuss, consequently, his simplicity and humbleness demonstrated by his artful construction, that, indeed, is quite lovable and, as a whole, a pretending speechwrapped on a fascinating metalanguge.
