Abstract

The present article analyses, considering Hilda Hilst’s A Obscena Senhora D, the subjects of individualism and the question of the Other, establishing a dialogue between them and the post-modern time, in order to demonstrate the interaction between the literary language and the society. To do so, the text reflects about the impossibility of relationship among men, as well as the consequences of this lack of connection, like: the marking of spaces, the tormented search and the desire of contact. Keywords: Hilda Hilst. Other. Empty. Post-modernity.
