Journal History
Revista Subjetividades is a continuation of Revista Mal-Estar e Subjetividade. It is published by the Graduate Program in Psychology at the University of Fortaleza. The aim of Revista Subjetividades is to disseminate the most significant academic, scientific, and artistic contributions developed around the themes: Subject, Psychological Suffering, Society, and Culture, presented in the form of articles, communications, research reports, and reviews. The change in the journal's title sought to ensure its quality and better represent the research lines of the Graduate Program in Psychology at UNIFOR and of the psychology field as a whole. Since 2001, the year of the creation of Revista Mal-Estar e Subjetividade, the journal has established itself as a recognized publication venue in psychology, gaining both national and international reach.
Currently, it operates with a team of five permanent members: Regina Heloisa Maciel, Aline Nogueira Lira, Cynthia de Freitas Melo Lins, Leônia Cavalcante Teixeira, and Natalia Lopes Braga, who are responsible for planning and implementing the necessary and desired updates, aiming to broaden the scope of publications and better align them with the stature of our Graduate Program.
Revista Subjetividades also stands out for its wide national and international scope in terms of the institutional affiliation of its Editorial Board: researchers from 18 institutions across 6 different countries.
